This morning while putting my son to nap, I was watching House Hunter by HGTV. I started watching this when we’re trying our luck to find our first place here in San Diego. I have to admit that I learned a lot from this. I learned that you can’t find a place that will provide all your wish list unless you bought a lot & have your dream house constructed.

Anyway, House Hunter usually features couple or family with kids. I seldom see a single man or woman looking for a house. This morning, it’s a bachelor & he looks impressive. A look that I feel that most single woman will give a second look.

Then toward the middle of the episode, his “best friend” showed up to give additional opinion & he’s a man. I’m trying not to entertain any malicious thought even though I felt something is beyond of just being a “BFF”.

Until the “hunter” mentioned his wish list! Top on line  – big kitchen (Fine! Now a days a lot of men are into cooking as well.)..then he mentioned about his shoes collection & clothes. I laughed when his collections was shown. The guy’s tone changed when the host was asking of his ideal space for the shoes.

I’ve been around with gays for quite a while. I can tell a difference of shoes design between straight & gay.

This is the second time that I’ve seen an episode that features a bachelor hunter & I always fall on one conclusion – gay!

We’re thinking of changing the light in our dinning room. What’s keeping us holding on to this is simply because its not our house. So, its either we’ll be a little generous to work on that (don’t worry we’ll keep it when we move into another place) or we’ll find a better study corner for me & my daughter.

Lately, it’s been our favorite spot to study. Even though its not that well-lighted as compared to other room but my 5-year old daughter is comfortable on our dinning table.

I tried to ask the maintenance department about this & he simply replied to me that its not the light, it’s the high ceiling. Then he told me that we can change it & they’re willing to help.

When we checked our dinning area, it seem that we need a chandelier for that case. I tried to check for an economical one but this Dolan lighting is so tempting. They have this kind of design that will work perfectly on our rose wood dinning set. It’s just hard when you really don’t own the place.

It’s just last week that I got a chance to check the email account attached for this blog. I’m surprised to receive an email from one guest that she accidentally bumped into this site while searching for information about Mesothelioma.

Last weekend, we went out on store to check a freezer that will fit on our laundry room together with washing machine & dryer. My husband & I were busy measuring the models until I heard this guy asking the sales lady about 4396510.

I was thinking, “This guy is so weird to ask for an item in reference of the model code.”

What surprised me was that the sales lady answered his questions as if she’s very much acquainted with those numbers. I’m not expecting a sales person to memorized their items model numbers.

When everybody was done with our different concerns, I can’t help it but to ask the lady what was going on with the numbers 4396510. Then she told me it’s a Whirlpool refrigerator water filter and it’s the name!

I thank God for giving me motivation for the past few days. To maintain my work out routine while taking care of my youngest.

Since we moved here in San Diego, my eldest was transferred to Kindergarten & attends school 5 days a week. For that, it gives me opportunity to do more things because I can easily establish a routine with my youngest.

Part of my New Year’s Resolution is to loose weight & work hard on my belly. I’m also adding dietary supplement in this project. I want something that will work like vegetables, some sort of “fiber”. Well, I don’t need to explain further what fiber can do in our body. You know it for sure!

Anyway, I’m surprised to see a lot of items in this category & this glucomanan caught my attention. After reading the details, I realized that this could also work for my husband.

This morning I started in my walk-a-thon routine, though this time it’s different as I also started taking a diet supplement. This year I’ll take it more serious. I mean serious is not just walking because of releasing stress, but rather loosing to weight to get back in my slimmer shape.

I noticed that my motivation is getting low as the 2010 starts and it’s very unusual to me. Before, when a new year enters in my life I feel so motivated, recharged & excited. Welcoming 2010 was a different one. I was thinking that it’s because we’ve been so much stressed on our move from Arizona to California & the fact that it was incorporated in the holiday period.  We’re excited to move here in San Diego, when we finally got my husband’s new contract. But making a move during Christmas & New Year is not really a good idea. That move really drove me crazy.

Believe it or not, I haven’t even come up on my 2010 resolution. It’s just this mid-January that my husband & I thought of our goals for this year. And that includes my more serious approach on loosing weight.
