Sex & The City: Now Showing!

It’s the first day showing of the much awaited (for most of the women out there like me) movie “Sex & The City”.

I woke up early this morning, so I can finish all the things I need to do on-line & as a mother. My husband told me that he will be home early today & it’s just a good opportunity for us to be in movie theater in early evening as well. Then have our dinner in a nice restaurant, afterwards. My hubby knew how excited I am with this movie & he knew that after seeing it, I’ll still be in adrenaline for the next couple of days.

I tried to call some Filipinas & thinking (more…)

Court: FLDS Kids should be returned to the ranch?!

Are you kidding me?!

I was rushing this afternoon to go home & update my blog with the latest update of FLDS case. I’m planning to post the recent evidence against Warren Jeffs – a picture of him with his 2 wives. One girl was about in the age of 12 & Warren was in his 50s. But when I tuned in this afternoon news, this was the headline I saw – “COURT: FLDS KIDS SHOULD BE RETURNED TO THE RANCH”.

I was so disappointed with what I’ve seen in the news flash & as I continue on the Fox News interactive News Update, lots of Americans are devastated as well with this Texas State Court Ruling.

When Visiting Sea World, CA

As you can see (well for few that matter), I wasn’t able to update this blog from Wednesday to Friday (May 21-23). The family visited Las Vegas & San Diego California & we just reached home (here in Arizona) last Sunday evening.

My husband’s aunt is here in USA for her 4-day United Nations’ Conference. She was one of the Phils’ representatives. She took this privilege to roam around & visit some place. So my husband & my mother-in-law took a few days leave in their job to accommodate aunt’s first USA trip.

Lakers vs Spurs: Foul in last second?

Game 4 of Lakers vs Spurs ended with scores 93-91, taking L.A. Lakers in 3-1 against San Antonio Spurs.

It was a much awaited game for Spurs fans as they were expecting it will be 2-2 standing since the game is in Staples Center. But Spurs was too hot to overcome the Lakers’ spirit.

Pregnancy Update: 23 Weeks

Fetal Development

The baby is more than 11 inches long & weighs just over a pound (454 grams). Even though fat is beginning to accumulate on the baby’s body, the skin still hangs loosely, giving the baby a wrinkled appearance. The baby’s skin is reddish in color because of the developing blood vessels underneath.

Blood vessels in the lungs are developing to prepare him/her in breathing. The baby can swallow, but normally won’t pass the first stool (called meconium) until after birth. Loud noises heard often in utero – such as a dog barking or the roar of a vacuum cleaner – probably won’t faze the baby when he/she hears them outside the womb.

Behind the Good Shape

One thing that I really love in clothing nowadays is that, you will always find something that will help you to emphasize what’s good in your body. Unlike before that clothes are very basic & limited choices. Now, clothes can be a great help for you to look in good shape that will truly hide those flaws.

Link for American Dream

It’s been a fact that most people in other countries like Philippines are very much attracted to the USA opportunities. Everybody is aware what USA life can offer to certain individuals whom very much dedicated to work or be successful in their chosen field.

Inspite of this desire, it’s not that easy to step on the plane & travel to this dream land.

I knew a lot of Filipinos who took so many risks just to have a chance to get here in USA & most of them weren’t successful. A lot failed! Even though many fail but still the people’s desire become larger & larger.

If you’re one of them, & still working for this dream are you gonna give up?

Do you have better resources to work on with this USA life?

California, Same Sex Marriage APPROVED!

12:00 Midnight, this headline flashed in the news last night while I’m watching late TV shows & I checked online news this morning, indeed the California Supreme Court’s decision made a different wave for the people here in America. I’m thinking that other gays & lesbians all over the world are also excited about this decision.

In reference of Fox News the court said;

In contrast to earlier times, our state now recognizes that an individual’s capacity to establish a loving and long-term committed relationship with another person and responsibly to care for and raise children does not depend upon the individual’s sexual orientation, and, more generally, that an individual’s sexual orientation – like a person’s race or gender – does not constitute a legitimate basis upon which to deny or withhold legal rights.
