Are you ready for holidays?

October is almost done, one month to go before Christmas & New Year. Most of you would probably be working on the holiday list. As for me, I already started purchasing some gift items & even additional holiday decors in preparation for this year’s holiday.

Even though I just had my little one, my holiday list will not be a problem because of online shopping. (more…)

Do they have a better way?

This weekend a family friend – Filipino couple was so disappointed that they need to travel to San Diego, California just to renew their Philippines passport. They told me that if they’re not planning to have a vacation on the Philippines they will not renew their passport for the meantime & just apply for US citizenship.

Well, it’s the same reaction I got from other Filipino friends whose working here in USA. The new Philippines passport system was good but they should have been plan properly the renewing procedure in accordance to their requirement of personal appearance. (more…)

Smokers Life Insurance, REALLY?!

I used to smoke one pack of cigarettes per day, which are 20 sticks. Now, I’m totally out of it that even if I smell it from another person, I feel sick. Surprising but I think it’s a great reaction so I will not go back in my old bad habit.

Anyway, I mentioned this because today I learned that there’s an insurance being offered to smokers. If you don’t know that before, well now you know. It may sound funny (more…)

Federal Job for Military Spouses

Having a federal job here in USA is indeed a great opportunity. It not just gives you confidence on the job’s stability but also the benefits that you can receive. That will truly benefit you & your family. That’s why it’s not easy to have a federal job.

But if you’re married to a serviceman & looking for a great opportunity, this recent executive order will definitely be a good thing for you. An executive order was recently released to ease federal employment for military spouses. Another wonderful help from the USA government to the family of our servicemen, like me!

When I received this email, I really want to hit my laptop & search for a possible job for me. But as what we planned, I’ll be staying home for the kids & be back to work once they’re in the right age for pre-K school. Although this is a great help for military spouse like me & I will definitely take note of this. For sure this will help me when the time comes that I’m ready to get back to work. (more…)

It's always natural…

With all types of slimming products available now in the market, I wouldn’t blame you if you’re having a hard time choosing the right one for you. Even I was on such situation as well. Even if you have guidance from a trusted medical expert, still one category shows more than 10 available items.

If you will ask me, on how I deal with this kind of situation one thing that I will say is that, “I always stick into natural ingredients”. For me nothing (more…)

Yoanna Turned 4!

Yes, my little girl Yoanna turned four last October 21. It’s just amazed me on how fast the time passes.

I still remember the moment of giving birth to this little girl. It was really hard because it’s my first time but it’s indeed a wonderful experience. Giving birth to a child is indeed a wonderful experience.

Not Too Bad in Crisis

One day I accidentally bumped into one TV show that I never took time to have at least a glance until this recent economic status of America. I’m talking about the Suze Orman show. For others who are not familiar with this smart lady, well she’s been known because of her knowledge in terms of financial issues.

Since America is currently having economic problem, TV shows like this tried to share some good ideas on how they can help out Americans not to be much affected with this crisis.

Like our family, even though my husband is a military & we’re getting good benefits out of it still we’re affected with this economic crisis. We recently changed one of our cars because of gas price. (more…)

We Need More Space!

We definitely need more space not in our house but in our mobile phones. I’m talking about memory cards.

Since the date I gave birth to our second child, our blackberry phones have been busy. Busy in sending pictures of our family to friends & relatives in other country or even here in USA. My hubby & I have recently fallen in love with our phones. We don’t need to open our laptop to be on line rather, email messages & chat messages are now directly delivered to our phones.

Then this morning we had another (more…)
