Totally shocked me & drove me to fear when I opened the CNN website this afternoon.  A young & healthy Brazilian mariana-bridi-da-costamodel that had urinary tract infection initially now is dead. According to CNN;

Brazilian model Mariana Bridi da Costa was a healthy 20-year-old when doctors told her she had a urinary tract infection, her family says. The infection spread, and after amputating her feet, doctors thought they had the situation under control, according to a blog run by a family friend. (more…)

Oprah is one of the people I know in the showbiz industry that doesn’t have TV in her room. When I first heard this, I was bedroom-hdtvshocked considering that her work is in television. Then I realized where she finds time to read books.

I mentioned this to my husband & he just smiled at me. He’s a person who can’t live without TV. It’s been a relaxing gadget for him, after the busy days in his work. (more…)

Technology & Time

I & my husband are still in this “digital-widescreen-tv” syndrome. Since the day Arizona started on switching to Digital lcd-monitorsystem, we started to check these fabulous TV sets every time we’re in the mall or in Navy Exchange store. There were already two instances wherein we’re almost in the point of purchasing one. What holding us, is the hope that prices could possibly go down more as USA will totally shift to digital system by next month.

Slim vs. Healthy

A friend of mine whom I used to work with when I was in Bahrain posted a comment in my personal profile in pillsFriendster.com. She & her husband were amazed when they got our family holiday postcard. Amazed because of the weight loss I had after the recent pregnancy to my second child. They’re asking me about these weight loss pills that work perfectly to loose pregnancy fats.

Last night, American Idol Season 8 kicked off & it started here in Arizona. As usual, many hopefuls wanna-be singer katrina-darrelllined up their selves in Phoenix & wished for golden ticket to Hollywood.

Upgrading Soon

USA will be changing to Digital TV system by next month. Here in Arizona alone, we already experienced four tests if plasma-tvresidents are ready for Digital system.
